Brian Oliver is an Oscar nominated producer and the founder and CEO of New Republic Pictures. As of 2020, New Republic inked an overall co-financing deal with Paramount Pictures. The company’s most recently produced Best Picture Nominees are ROCKETMAN and 1917, with credits for 2021 such as TOP GUN: MAVERICK, COMING 2 AMERICA, and MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 7. Brian started his career at Paramount Pictures, followed by a stint in the motion picture department at the William Morris Endeavor (WME). He later left WME to become President of Production at Propaganda Films, where he oversaw development and production of their film slate and produced Paul Schrader's Auto Focus. Oliver later founded Samuels Media (Michael Clayton) before teaming up with Timmy Thompson to launch Cross Creek Pictures in 2009. Oliver has produced three Academy Award nominated films for Best Picture: Darren Aronofsky's psychological ballet thriller Black Swan, The Ides of March, and 1917. Oliver’s credits also include The Woman in Black, starring Daniel Radcliffe, and Ron Howard’s Formula One racing biopic Rush, Everest, Black Mass, and American Made starring Tom Cruise. Oliver also produced the World War II film Hacksaw Ridge, directed by Mel Gibson which was nominated for six Academy Awards including another Best Picture nomination. In 2017, Brian left Cross Creek Pictures to form New Republic Pictures and the first two films he produced at New Republic Pictures were Rocketman directed by Dexter Fletcher and 1917 directed by Sam Mendes. To date, the films that Oliver has produced have been nominated for twenty-two Academy Awards, fourteen Golden Globes and thirty-three BAFTAs, and have grossed over $2 billion worldwide. Brian attended the University of California at Berkeley for undergrade and Whittier College and Southwestern for his law degree.

Jonathan Deckter joined Voltage Pictures in March 2015, as a partner and serves as President & COODeckter oversees Voltage’s international and domestic sales, business and legal affairs, finance, third-party acquisitions, and strategic planning. In conjunction with CEO Nicolas Chartier, Deckter also manages all new Voltage business ventures.

During his tenure at Voltage, Deckter has executive produced key titles for the company including I Feel Pretty starring Amy Schumer and Michelle Williams, which grossed nearly $100 million worldwide, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile starting Zac Efron and Lily Collins, which premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film festival and subsequently sold to Netflix in a multi-territory deal, After starring Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes-Tiffin and based on the worldwide best-seller from Anna Todd, and Eve starring Jessica Chastain, Colin Farrell, John Malkovich, Common and Geena Davis, which is currently in post-production. He also executive produced Wind River, from Taylor Sheridan in his directorial debut, starring Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen, which premiered to rave reviews at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival which took over $45 million in worldwide box office.

Deckter was also responsible for the sale of the above titles in addition to other key successful titles for Voltage including All Eyez on Me from director Benny Bloom and starring Demetrius Shipp Jr., Danai Gurira and Kat Graham took $45 million in worldwide box office and the Toronto International Film Festival FIPRESCI Prize winner Skin from the Academy Award-winning director, Guy Nattiv, and starring Jamie Bell, Danielle Macdonald, and Vera Farmiga. The film was also an official selection in the Panorama section at the 2019 Berlin Film Festival and will be released in the US by A24. The short on which the film is based won the 2019 Academy Award for Best Live Action Short.

Prior to joining Voltage, Jonathan Deckter spent five years at IM Global, where he served as President for three of those years. While there, he oversaw and ran the day-to-day operations for IM Global’s international sales and distribution activities, which included over 250 films generating $5 billion dollars in worldwide box office; it’s Pan-Asian rights vehicle APSARA; the company’s strategic sales partnerships (Blumhouse International and Dolphin Films); and the company’s interest in Mundial, a Latin American based sales company focusing on Spanish language content. During his tenure at IM Global the company held the number-one box-office share for independent sales companies for two years straight, 2014 and 2013. The company sold over 100 new features into the market place, 20 of which were either financed in-house or co-financed with budgets totaling $450 million. Deckter was also instrumental in acquiring the distribution rights to the Spyglass, Beacon and Intermedia catalogues – over 150 films in total. The Butler ($176m WW box-office), Walking with Dinosaurs ($135m WW box-office) and Insidious ($97m WW box-office) were among the films distributed by IM Global during Deckter’s tenure.

Deckter joined IM Global from Lakeshore Films, where he was Senior Vice President of International Sales for three years, with oversight for all foreign sales and management of a varied range of motion pictures that comprised Lakeshore’s 500+ title library. Before joining Lakeshore, Deckter served as President of International Sales at Arclight Films, managing the worldwide sales, distribution and acquisitions of the company’s theatrical films and creating new alliances with companies such as Joel Silver’s Zinc Pictures. For five years prior to his tenure at Arclight, Deckter served as Vice President of Morgan Creek International.

Deckter is a frequent speaker on industry panels as well as a guest lecturer at USC’s Stark program and his alma mater the University of Arizona.

Nicolas Chartier, the Academy Award-winning producer of The Hurt Locker, has been involved in the financing, production and distribution of over five hundred films. In 2005, he founded Voltage Pictures, the Los Angeles-based international financing, sales and production operation. 

The Hurt Locker was Voltage's first in-house production and won six Academy Awards in 2009, including Best Picture. Killer Joe was Voltage’s second production, directed by William Friedkin and starring Matthew McConaughey. In 2013, Nicolas executive produced Dallas Buyers Club, for which Matthew McConaughey won the Academy Award for Best Actor and Jared Leto for Best Supporting Actor. He also produced The Company You Keep, directed by Robert Redford and starring Robert Redford and Shia LaBeouf, The Zero Theorem directed by Terry Gilliam, starring Christoph Waltz; Don Jon, directed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, starring Scarlett Johansson and Julianne Moore; Good Kill, directed by Andrew Niccol, starring Ethan Hawke; Fathers and Daughters, starring Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried and Aaron Paul; I.T. starring Pierce Brosnan and is an executive producer on A Tale of Love and Darkness, written, directed by and starring Natalie Portman and was an official selection at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.

Mr. Carvajal is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners.  Prior to joining HPS in 2020, Mr. Carvajal was a Managing Director at 23 Capital, a sports, media, and entertainment specialty finance investment platform.  During his tenure at 23 Capital, Mr. Carvajal was responsible for origination, structuring, and execution of first lien and mezzanine financings. Prior to 23 Capital, Mr. Carvajal was a Vice President in J.P. Morgan’s Entertainment Industries Group, focused on global syndicated and leveraged finance transactions. Viviana Zarragoitia began her career in the entertainment industry working in production accounting at Millennium Films and Bold Films.

She then spent 5 years at Lionsgate, where she started working in the accounting department and segued into the finance division, specifically, profit participation. While working in profit participation, she oversaw the preparation of multi-million dollar film and television distribution deals. She was then promoted to the group's audit division, where she managed film and television royalty audits of producers’ profit participation statements.

In 2013, she joined Three Point Capital, a boutique firm that specializes in senior lending on film and television projects. While at Three Point Capital, Viviana has been involved in the financing of over 120 independent films, and worked with such producers as Cassian Elwes, Robert Barnum, Anthony Bregman, James Schamus, Aaron Gilbert, Kimberly Steward, Nicolas Chartier, and Kevin Frakes, among others. As Vice President, Viviana closes the financing on every film that the company is involved in, as well as manages the company's operations in its satellite offices (Ohio and Louisiana). Viviana has received over 30 Executive Producers credits on titles she has financed.

Viviana is a member of the Producers Guild Association, Film Independent, and Women In Film. She is a frequent panelist for international film festivals and universities, and teaches film finance classes for Stage 32.

Curiosity Entertainment is currently in development and pre-production of their inaugural slate including 5 films and 6 premium tv shows. Their year kicks off with co-productions from famed television creators Mark Williams (Ozark) and Kevin Fox (Law and Order SVU, Lie to Me, Raising Kanan) and director Nimrod Antal’s (Predators) next feature currently named “Max”.     She has spent the last 8 years as an Executive in Entertainment supporting over 30 film and television shows. Her latest position was with CWM supporting BRON studios producers of "Bombshell" and "Joker" and this year her films as an Executive Producer include “Capone” starring Tom Hardy, “Harry Haft” starring Ben Foster and directed by Barry Levinson, and “Needle” starring Cynthia Ervo, Leslie Odom Jr, Orlando Bloom, and Freida Pinto-directed by John Ridley.   Adhrucia is an active member of the diversity initiative lovingly called "Stone Soup" started by Rotten Tomatoes founder Patrick Lee and the Goldhouse Initiative focused on elevating Asian and South Asian voices in the Entertainment Industry and beyond, and has served or been an advocate and volunteer for Los Angeles based non-profits Young Storytellers and Project Paper Bag.    She is a founding member of the Producers Guild of America's Social Impact in Entertainment (SIE) board.

Leif has over fifteen years of experience in television development and packaging experience with acquisitions of numerous A-List intellectual properties. Leif’s mission for Curiosity is to develop and produce grounded-genre projects for an international audience.  This includes a 2021-2022 slate of ground-breaking television projects with A-List creators like Mark Williams (OZARK), Rob Weiss (BALLERS, ENTOURAGE) and Kevin Fox (LAW & ORDER: SVU, RAISING KANAN), as well as many film projects in development.

In his prior roles Leif ran the television side of Endgame Entertainment, a financing and production company, setting up five television shows. As Vice President, Television at Demarest Films, Leif brought in and shepherded the Golden Globe winning AMC/BBC production of THE NIGHT MANAGER. Prior to Demarest Films, Leif ran scripted TV development for four years for Morgan Freeman’s Revelations Entertainment. There he directed the development team that set up eight television shows including CBS’s MADAM SECRETARY, and the Emmy-nominated THROUGH THE WORMHOLE for Discovery Science.

Leif spent two years at Creative Artists Agency where he helped package the films RED with Bruce Willis and the Academy Award winning THE KING’S SPEECH. Prior to CAA, Leif worked in development at Humble Journey Films where he helped set up six television shows at CBS.  He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.

Rob Weiss is an American television and film director, producer and screenwriter. A native New Yorker Weiss studied film and fashion in New York City at Parsons School of Design – The New School. Weiss wrote and directed the 1993 cult classic Amongst Friends which premiered at The Sundance Film Festival. The independent feature, shot for $900,000 in 24 days, garnered both strong industry buzz and acclaim receiving a nomination for the festivals top Grand Jury Prize. A true visionary in the television landscape Weiss has had the distinct honor of serving as Executive Producer, director, and writer of three critically acclaimed HBO television shows including Entourage (2004-2011), How to Make It in America (2010 – 2011), and Ballers (2015-2019) starring Dwayne Johnson. The massive pop culture success of Entourage earned Weiss six Golden Globe nominations for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy, three Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Best Comedy Series, and three Writers Guild of America Awards for Best Television Comedy Series. Weiss executive produced and originated the story for the film adaptation of Entourage (2015). In his spare time, Weiss can be found pursuing his passion for martial arts and his love of writing.

Carl Buehl is an Emmy-Award-winning and three-time Emmy nominated Executive Producer with more than 35 years in the industry. He has developed, written, produced and/or directed a range of highly rated television shows – from “America’s Most Wanted” to the paranormal world of “Sightings,” from “Amazing Race” to “Celebrity Fit Club” to “Supernanny” and numerous others. His vision for characters, storytelling, developing formats and delivering on time and on budget have placed him at the forefront of the unscripted television market. Currently as a network and cable approved Showrunner, Carl is also developing a range of innovative projects in several genres as well as producing documentaries and character-centric follow-docs in several arenas.

Winning the 2014/2015 Outstanding Lifestyle Program Emmy for “Home Made Simple” and 2015/2016 Emmy nominations for “Build Small Live Anywhere” and “Home Made Simple,” he has most recently been a Showrunner for a new A&E series as well as Showrunner for Discovery Networks “Undercover Billionaire: Comeback City”. Carl has also brought several pilots to series, including HGTV’s “Montana Home” and “My Lottery Dream Home” and DIY’s “Holmes: Buy it Right.”

In a career that began in talk radio then led to on-camera hosting to editing commercials, Carl went on to producing, writing and/or directing shows on FOX, CBS, ABC, NBC, MTV, VH-1, E! Network, Discovery, Animal Planet, Bravo, HGTV, DIY, Travel Channel and OWN.

Kevin has been a professional writer for over twenty years, beginning with the sale of Fire & Rain to New Line Cinema in 1995.  He has worked in film, television, and published a graphic novel as well as two novels, Until the Next Time and Great Kills.  

As a screenwriter, Kevin's credits include The Negotiator starring Samuel L. Jackson and Kevin Spacey, as well as dozens of other feature scripts, including a vehicle for Julia Roberts.

In television, Kevin has created, executive produced, and served as showrunner for shows on FOX and CBS and has created, developed and sold pilot scripts for a wide range of producers and networks. He has worked on FOX's Lie to Me* and did a five-year run on NBC's Law & Order:  SVU, where he was nominated for the prestigious Edgar Award. He is Executive Producing a scripted series based upon Billy Joel’s entire song catalog for Amazon, and is currently a writer and Executive Producer on STARZ network’s Raising Kanan.
