Many major events around the world have officially canceled or postponed their gatherings in recent weeks due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. And as of now, we’re still figuring out whether we will be moving forward with our spring conferences or postponing them to later dates -- including the Script to Screen Summit taking place in New York City on April 23rd and the International Film Finance Forum taking place in Cannes on May 15th. We will be making a decision as we get closer to each event date and welcome your feedback at info@winstonbaker.com.
Our top priority is focused on the health and safety of all, including attendees, sponsors, volunteers, staff, and all others involved at each event. However, we also realize the need for businesses to continue on some level.
In case we do host our events on our scheduled dates, we want to give you a little peace of mind by letting you know how we will be preparing to help ensure that everyone stays safe and healthy. We’ve also come up with some precautions if you plan to attend our conferences or any other gatherings around the world.
If you are sick, please stay home. If you have already registered for one of our events, we will honor your registration for another Winston Baker event within the next 18 months.
We will extend the break times so you have time to wash your hands before coffee breaks and meals -- and feel free to wash hands even more often.
We are taking steps to address concerns by providing heightened levels of cleanliness at each venue.
We will have hand sanitizers onsite and suggest you bring yourself extra hand sanitizers as well.
We will be setting up the seating areas so that every participant has ample space.
Please avoid handshakes, hugs and any kind of skin on skin contact. Just stick to smiles, bows, head nods and hand waves from a distance.
